Mission Statement
Our mission is to train and equip a new generation of indigenous leaders who are driven by the love of God to pass on the torch of reconciliation, community, and youth development in West Jackson
Vision Statement
Our passion is to continue to walk with our West Jackson neighbors in building an engaging community with moral integrity and character through discipleship, family, and youth development.
Belief Statement
We believe that God in Heaven is full of love, redemption, justice, mercy, and grace and through his Son, Jesus Christ, He has commissioned us to be ambassadors of His Kingdom here on earth.
"My friends, you were chosen to be free. So don't use your freedom as an excuse to do anything you want. Use it as an opportunity to serve each other with love. All that the Law says can be summed up in the command to love others as much as you love yourself." Galatians 5:13-14
Why We're Here
Our West Jackson community is riddled with crime, drugs and unemployment. There are more predatory businesses - payday loans, liquor stores, and pawn shops - that prey on desperate and addicted people than positive ones that bring hope and change to our neighborhoods. Mississippi students have a 1 in 4 chance of dropping out of school. Satan is hard at work, so we need to work harder.
We believe that the vision God has given us will help to transform our community of West Jackson to begin reflecting the Kingdom of God. By investing in our children’s creativity, education and character we know they will be the ones going to college and leading productive lives in the future. They will be freed from the poverty cycle.
We also believe that by helping families find a safe, clean, positive place to live more love will be transfered to the children. We encourage parents - especially single mothers - in the West Jackson neighborhood to continue to pursue careers, educations and true relationships with Jesus. Strong families equal strong communities.
